Hoiana Resort & Golf has introduced a new gaming venue aimed at high-end players with the launch of Sky Casino, a private casino space located on the 19th floor of Hoiana Hotel & Suites in central Vietnam.
The new facility is reserved for upper-tier members of the Hoiana Rewards program holding Voyager or Envoy status. According to the operator, the venue was created to provide a quieter and more secluded setting for premium guests who prefer a more private gaming environment away from the main casino floor.
Sky Casino recently completed a soft launch and is expected to hold an official inauguration ceremony in September, according to information provided by the resort.
New Gaming Space Targets Premium Players
Hoiana said the new venue focuses on high-stakes gaming while combining private hospitality services with dedicated food and beverage offerings.
The operator described Sky Casino as an alternative to the larger public gaming floor, offering guests what it called a “sanctuary for those who value privacy and focused play.”
The casino includes a range of core gaming products along with private salons that can be customized according to player preferences. These salons are available through bookings and are intended for uninterrupted gaming sessions.
The gaming mix inside Sky Casino focuses primarily on baccarat, which remains one of the dominant table games for VIP players across Asian casino markets. Roulette tables and slot machines are also available inside the venue.
In addition to the gaming facilities, the space includes the Sky Bar, where guests can access drinks alongside panoramic views overlooking the resort and surrounding coastline.
Hoiana Continues Expanding Premium Offerings
The opening of Sky Casino forms part of Hoiana’s broader strategy to strengthen its premium gaming and hospitality business on Vietnam’s central coast.
Hoiana Resort & Golf, located in Quang Nam Province near Da Nang, opened in 2020 and operates a casino that is restricted to foreign passport holders. The integrated resort currently includes four five-star hotels, a golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, more than 270 electronic gaming machines and around 140 gaming tables.
Alongside Sky Casino, the resort continues to operate Hoiana Premium on the ground floor of Hoiana Hotel & Suites.
Unlike Sky Casino, Hoiana Premium is accessible to all three membership tiers within the Hoiana Rewards program, including Explorer, Voyager and Envoy members. The area is positioned near the main gaming floor and targets guests who want a more personalized setting while remaining connected to the energy of the larger casino operation.
As reported by Inside Asian Gaming, the company said the space is designed for guests who “value comfort and personalized service without losing the vibrant pulse” of the primary casino floor.
Expansion Plans Continue Under New Leadership
Hoiana is also moving forward with a major expansion project following management and ownership changes completed over the past year.
The integrated resort recently confirmed plans for a Phase 2 expansion valued at around US$1 billion. The project is expected to add more than 1,000 additional five-star hotel rooms, nearly 200 beachfront villas, a convention center, a family-focused retail and entertainment zone, and a second golf course connected to a professional golf academy.
The long-term development plan reportedly spans seven phases through 2029 and carries a projected total investment of around US$4 billion.
The resort is operated by Hoi An South Development Ltd. Following a restructuring completed in early 2025, Hong Kong-based VMS Group took a controlling 75% stake in the company, while VinaCapital retained the remaining shareholding.
Alan Teo, previously associated with Resorts World Sentosa and NUSTAR, was appointed CEO in early 2025 as part of the company’s updated development strategy.
