Three internet casinos joined New Jersey’s regulated market between June and last week, bringing the total number of licensed online gambling sites in the state to 30, according to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Vegas Club Casino went live Wednesday under a market-access agreement with Caesars Entertainment. The platform was launched by G2 Digital, a company founded by industry executives Greg Carlin and Dan Alexander.

The launch represents Carlin’s first online casino project since his departure from Rush Street Interactive and Rush Street Gaming, where he served as Chief Executive Officer. Carlin currently leads Granite State Gaming and Hospitality, which operates the Beach Club Casino and Lilac Club Casino in New Hampshire.

“Creating a great online gaming experience means delivering authentic excitement, real player protections, and the feeling that every player is a VIP,” Carlin said in a statement. “Vegas Club Casino combines the timeless appeal of classic Las Vegas with the transparency and security of a fully regulated online casino. We look forward to earning players’ loyalty through fair play and a fun, exciting experience.”

Meanwhile, Alexander previously contributed to PlayStar‘s growth into one of New Jersey’s top operators during that company’s early years in the state.

Two other Caesars-linked platforms preceded the launch

Vegas Club follows two other additions to the market last month: Ember Casino and Betinia Casino, both also affiliated with Caesars Entertainment.

The three launches occurred within a short span, adding new competitors to the state’s online gambling sector.

G2 Digital has also outlined plans to enter Alberta, Ontario and Pennsylvania, contingent on regulatory approval in each jurisdiction.

Statewide gaming revenue rises as sports betting declines

The casino launches arrived as New Jersey’s gaming sector posted continued growth through June. Total gaming revenue for the state’s casinos, racetracks and partners reached $585.6 million, a 0.7% increase from $581.6 million in June 2025, per figures released by the Division of Gaming Enforcement on July 16.

Internet gaming again led growth among categories, generating $271 million for the month, a 17.5% increase from $230.7 million a year earlier. Year-to-date online gaming revenue totaled $1.59 billion through the first half of 2026, up 15% from the same period in 2025.

Atlantic City’s nine casino hotels recorded $257.3 million in casino win for June, down 0.7% from $259 million a year earlier, though the total ranked as the second-highest June figure in 14 years. Year-to-date casino win reached $1.41 billion, an increase of 2.3%.

Sports wagering was the only segment to decline. Revenue dropped 37.7% to $57.3 million despite total betting handle rising 16% to $917.2 million. Regulators attributed the gap to patron winnings tied to the NBA Finals and the World Cup.

For the first six months of 2026, statewide gaming revenue totaled $3.32 billion, a 6% increase from the prior year, while total gaming taxes reached $500.5 million through June.
