  • Four group stage matches are on Saturday’s World Cup slate
  • I target closing line value and statistical mismatches on the board
  • See our predictive A.I.’s World Cup picks for all four matches on June 13

The World Cup group stage continues on Saturday with a compelling four-game slate. The board opens at 3:00 pm ET with Qatar taking the pitch as a heavy underdog against Switzerland in San Francisco. The marquee matchup of the day follows at 6:00 pm ET when tournament heavyweight Brazil steps up against a dangerous underdog Morocco in East Rutherford. As the night continues, Scotland is a big favorite over Haiti at 9:00 pm ET in Boston, before the slate wraps up with Australia clashing with Turkiye at 12:00 am ET in Vancouver.

I ran all four matches through SBD’s predictive A.I. model. The table below summarizes the computer’s best bet for each game.

A.I. World Cup Picks & Predictions for Saturday, June 13

The A.I. likes the over in the first match of the day between Qatar and Switzerland, 2022 runner-up Morocco to get at least a point against Brazil, and the favorites in the late games: Scotland over Haiti, and Turkiye over Australia.

Brazil is the only team in action on Saturday that’s among the top-ten favorites in the odds to win the World Cup (currently fifth at +875). Morocco is 12th at +5000 and Switzerland is 17th at +750.

In the next four subsections, I have set out the A.I.’s explanation for each pick.

Qatar vs Switzerland Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals -127 (56¢) at Kalshi

A.I. explanation: “Switzerland enters as a substantial favorite, and that game script supports an Over 2.5 goals position. If the Swiss break through early, Qatar will be forced out of a conservative low block, creating the kind of stretched match state that can produce chances at both ends.

Switzerland’s ability to sustain pressure and generate repeat entries in the final third will ensure an early goal. At -127, the Over 2.5 is the best way to attack this opener rather than laying the heavy -426 (81¢) moneyline price on the Swiss.”

Brazil vs Morocco Pick: Double-Chance Morocco or Draw +138 (42¢) at Kalshi

A.I. explanation: “This matchup still runs through Brazil’s talent advantage, but the price creates a contrarian value spot on Morocco or Draw. Even with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad carrying elite attacking options like Vinicius Jr and Raphinha, the market is asking bettors to pay a premium for Brazil in a matchup where Morocco’s defensive structure can keep the game tight.

Morocco, guided by manager Mohamed Ouahbi, boasts high-level talent, including elite defender Achraf Hakimi and versatile forward Brahim Diaz. The model sides with the underdog-protection angle: taking Morocco or Draw at 42¢, which equates to +138 odds, provides a better risk-reward profile than laying the favorite price with Brazil.”

Haiti vs Scotland Prediction: Scotland Moneyline -163 (62¢) at Kalshi

A.I. explanation: “Scotland steps onto the pitch as a solid favorite, and the underlying metrics suggest Steve Clarke’s men are well-equipped to secure the three points. Scotland’s roster is anchored by a sturdy defense featuring Andy Robertson and a dynamic midfield core that controls the transition game.

Haiti manager Sebastien Migne will look to forwards Frantzdy Pierrot and Duckens Nazon to generate counter-attacking chances. Still, Scotland’s structural organization gives them a clear analytical advantage. Taking Scotland at 62¢ on Kalshi yields better closing line value than laying the -175 juice at standard books, making this an optimal data-driven wager.”

Australia vs Turkiye Prediction: Turkiye Moneyline -138 (58¢) at Kalshi

A.I. explanation: “The final match of the slate presents an intriguing stylistic clash, but the edge goes to Vincenzo Montella’s Turkiye squad. The Turkish roster is loaded with elite distributors, highlighted by central midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu and highly-touted forward Arda Guler.

Australia, under the direction of Anthony Popovic, relies on veteran goalkeeper Mathew Ryan and imposing defender Harry Souttar to pack the paint and protect the penalty area. Despite Australia’s defensive grit, Turkiye’s attacking variations generate a high volume of expected goals (xG). The 58¢ Kalshi price tags Turkiye at an implied -138, which is the most efficient way to attack this game.”
