The Pistons and Magic square off in Game 4 tonight in Orlando, with the Magic looking to take a 3-1 series stranglehold. Paolo Banchero’s dominant play has propelled Orlando to a 2-1 lead, alongside steady scoring from Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane.

Meanwhile, the Magic’s defense has done an exceptional job of bottling up Detroit’s secondary scoring, and forcing Cade Cunningham to shoulder nearly all of the offensive burden.

My favorite NBA props bet tonight is under 9.5 assists for Cunningham. The Pistons star has dealt with severe turnover woes this series, and hasn’t been getting any help from his teammates. Bane meanwhile, was raining triples in Game 3, and with much of the Detroit defense focused on locking down Banchero, I expect another big night for Bane from beyond the arc.

Cunningham’s volume has been astronomical, but oddsmakers have set his playmaking line slightly too high against a Magic defensive unit that specializes in creating chaos. Orlando has upped their intensity on defense, forcing 19 turnovers by Cunningham in three games so far. If Cade continues to cough up the ball at this rate, Detroit can kiss its chances in the NBA Championship odds goodbye.

Cunningham has failed to exceed 9.5 assists in any game this series, and is averaging just 8 dimes per outing through three games. Orlando is holding the entire Detroit roster to an exceptionally low 21.7 assists per game this postseason, after yielding the 12th fewest opponent assists during the regular season.

At the other end, Bane offers incredible value at +142 odds to continue his perimeter barrage and light the lamp from deep. He has been the most lethal outside threat for the Magic, knocking down 41.7% of his attempts this series, averaging 3+ triples per game.

Last time out, Bane erupted for an incredible 7-of-9 shooting display from beyond the arc in front of the hometown fans. The Pistons allowed 15 triples in Game 3, and given Bane’s long range volume this postseason, he’ll have plenty of opportunity to clear this prop line. Bane is averaging 8 three-point attempts per game so far, which is four more than any one of his teammates not named Jalen Suggs.

Same-Game Parlay for Pistons vs Magic Game 4
